The charcoal basket allows you to significantly improve the air flow in your grill. Because the coal can be easily supplied with fresh air from all sides, which gives you the advantage that an optimized and above all more uniform combustion of the coal takes place inside.
As soon as the coal burns, the resulting ash can simply fall through the holes of the basket, then the ash can then be easily removed with the Big Green Egg ash slide and the ash shovel. Since the ash practically falls off, the air supply is no longer clogged, allowing you to use your grill even more efficiently.
Since the charcoal basket is continuously exposed to high heat, it has been specially made of a high-quality and above all solid stainless steel, which gives it a longer durability than conventional coal shells.
